- FoodGuard comes in form of effervescent tablets which contains sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NADCC) which dissolves in water to produce Hypochlorous acid (HOCI) with a pH level of 6.5. At a pH level of 6.5, 99.74% HOCI is available for optimal germicidal activity making FoodGuard into a very effective disinfectant for the food handling or food processing environment.
